Sometimes a work will start with a plain statement. A man and a woman. Perhaps in a garden, maybe Eden.
And then it will sit for years allowing a story to play out. Ignored to age. Broad strokes, maybe irresponsible, take out the two lovers creating a new struggle on the canvas. Finally revealing an accord between nature and the mechanical.

Following on the success of my Galerie Graf:DADA gallery show and performance, the lower level gallery at cSPACE Kind Edward will feature 15 recently completed paintings. The show will run Oct. 01-31 with the opening reception on Saturday, Oct 5 5-8 PM.
Although the works have been recently completed, many of them can trace their heritage back over 20 years, evolving through many iterations and colors and storylines.
